Terms of service

These terms are between you (or the organization you act for) and X Automate, the company registered in India that operates DevRelay (“DevRelay”, “we”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you use DevRelay for an organization, you confirm you may accept these terms for it.

1. The service

DevRelay watches sources you connect (such as GitHub repositories, your website, docs and blog), drafts developer-facing content about what you ship, checks it, and holds it for your approval. It publishes only content that someone in your organization approved, to channels you connected.

2. Accounts

Keep your sign-in secure and tell us at support@devrelay.so if you think your account was accessed without permission. You're responsible for what happens in your organization's account, including who you invite and what they approve.

3. Your content

You keep all rights to the content you connect or provide, and to the drafts DevRelay produces for you. You give us permission to host, copy, process and transmit that content only as needed to provide the service to you, including sending it to the AI and infrastructure providers listed in our privacy policy. You confirm you have the right to connect the sources you connect.

4. AI output and approval

Drafts are generated by AI and can be wrong, incomplete or unsuitable, even after our checks. You are responsible for reviewing content before you approve it, and for what you publish. Approval is the point where you accept a draft as yours.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use DevRelay to:

• break the law, or infringe anyone's rights;
• publish spam, deceptive content, or content that breaks the rules of the platforms you post to;
• connect sources you aren't allowed to access;
• probe, overload or attack the service, or get around rate limits, plan limits or security measures;
• resell the service or use it to build a competing product.

6. Third-party services

When you connect GitHub, X, LinkedIn, Slack or other services, your use of them stays under their terms. We aren't responsible for their availability or changes to their APIs, which may affect what DevRelay can do.

7. Plans, billing and cancellation

• The free plan costs nothing and has the limits shown on the pricing page.
• Paid plans are billed monthly in advance, per organization, by card through our billing provider. Prices exclude applicable taxes.
• You can cancel anytime from the billing page in Settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and then doesn't renew.
• Payments are non-refundable, except as described in our refund policy.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply from your next billing period.

8. Free tools

The free tools on devrelay.so are provided as they are, with rate limits, and may change or stop at any time. Don't submit content you aren't allowed to share, and check the output before you rely on it.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep DevRelay available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change or remove features; if a change materially reduces what a paid plan includes, we'll tell you in advance.

10. Suspension and termination

You can stop using DevRelay at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts the service or others at risk, or doesn't pay, and we'll tell you why unless the law or security prevents it. After closure, we delete your data as described in the privacy policy.

11. Disclaimers

Except as these terms say, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, DevRelay isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India. Before going to court, please write to us so we can try to resolve it.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll update the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell account owners by email before they take effect. Continuing to use DevRelay after that means you accept the new terms.
